For 45 years, Gills has been my culinary companion. The chicken is fantastic, the sides equally so. But let me share a little secret – the steak fingers. Yes, you read that right. They quietly steal the spotlight, effortlessly competing with the best in the steak game. Superb, if I may say so!

When traveling through Sweetwater we always try to stop at Gill's Chicken for some delicious fried chicken. We had the chicken tenders meal with fried okra. Also a 3 piece chicken breast meal with hot corn on the cob. At the table we had the melted butter for the corn and biscuits. Nice group of friendly people working there. Prices aren't bad for a good amount of food.

Customer service was very bad We bought a gallon of tea, and they wanted us to pay for the cups, and when I asked for cups that give for water 💧 she told me no because she knew what I wanted it for. If I'm in town again, I'll make sure I will never go back to that place. Need better training on how to treat your customers,

Their food is great , best chicken in town but portion sizes are 1/2 what they were and pric s have over doubled . $34.99 for 16 tenders with 2 sides. We received 4 full tenders and 12 that were only 1/2 size ( about 2 inches long) . Family fries used to come in a small box and are now in a sleeve about 1/2 the size @ $4.93. It takes 2 of those for my family of 4 so $9 just for 1 side. Love their food but I’m gonna need to find an alternative

Pretty on par with Bush's Chicken, it is a mom-and-pop chicken shop on the block, listening to the locals and reading other views, it seems like the prices have taken a rise in the last few years, had the chicken strips and the fish, enjoyed the meal. Quirky around the edges. Stay away from the fish

Place is a little old/run down. Friends ate the chicken, once said it was okay, one said it was crispy. Biscuits are decent with honey. Hush puppies were not good which made me sad. Fried Okra was good. Prices are fair. Fish was "okay" ... Not a good place for strict vegetarians as their only option would be biscuits since everything else is fried together. Bathroom could use some work and there's nothing worse than washing your with ice cold water in the winter and have no paper towels.

Take a long time, especially if you're going through, drive through to get your food to even order. But they do myself the oars a lot. But it is really, really good food. And they fix it for you if they mess up
